Featuring high definition recording and a 20x manual zoom lens, the Canon XH G1S belongs to a pair of professional camcorders Canon is set to release in December 2008 along with the XH A1S. Able to record in 1080p and produce movie-standard footage at 24F frame rate, the G1S supports high quality recording for professionals while also providing a number of added image control functions and manual operation settings so filmmakers can make adjustments to the recording style. Canon has also included its optical stabilization technology to encourage blur-free shots and a quick autofocus function so the camcorder can lock onto scenes more easily.
