Write for Obsessable
Have a passion for technology and consumer electronics and a way with words? Interested in being involved in a fast-paced environment and an exciting new web publishing platform? Obsessable is accepting rolling applications for editorial staff to join our newsroom, curators to help us build the best archive of consumer tech product information, and feature writers to produce original how-tos, guides, and columns.
To apply, send an email to apply AT obsessable DOT com with a brief background on your experience in technology and writing for the web, the team you’re applying for (news staff, curation team, feature writers), your availability and contact information and the following original samples:
- News writers: 3 original sample posts written in the style of Obsessable on currently relevant tech topics or recent product announcements.
- Curators: 3 original product descriptions of around 200 words in the style of an Obsessable product page. You may choose currently available products or favorite products you’ve owned or worked with in the past.
- Feature writers: 10 sample feature topics relating to personal technology (if you’re pitching us a specific regularly running column, those topics should be unified within your chosen theme) and 1 original 500 word sample. The sample can be a complete feature or an introduction to a longer piece.
